Changes, Changes, Changes...

Well, Autumn is here now although you wouldn't know it in good old FLA!! For a native like me we can sense it, however, it is VERY SUBTLE...we won't typically get our first Cold Front for another month or so though.

Big Boy will be 2 in like Six weeks...oh, I am soooo proud of him. I think he is finally ready to handle daycare...Here is my lamo attempt at a LO using the "For the Boys" freebies on the
Digitreats blog. The quote is a little hard to read at that size so here is what it says, "And will you succeed? Yes indeed, yes indeed! Ninety-eight and three-quarters percent guaranteed. Dr. Seuss."

I may get to FINALLY go back to my career in Software Quality Assurance soon. Wow, I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I really, really want to go back to school and get my M.S. degree too....we, will just have to see how that might fit in to the old schedule.

Oh, I have tried making flowers but I am just NOT ready to share yet, but SOON I hope ;))

Thank Goodness it's Friday!

Oh, I am sooooo excited ;)) I started making my first RIBBONS last night thanks to some wonderful tutorials that Barb pointed me to!! I must say that my head is just spinning with the possibilities.

Tomorrow DH and I are going on a DATE!! We have decided to most likely go over by Cocoa Beach area ( I haven't been there since I was a teenager! ) and check out some scenery. I am really looking forward to that because we are way overdue for some time away from the little kiddos.

Well, back to Photoshop and then my Aerobic Routine before the kiddies wake up from their nappies ;)) Have a GREAT WEEKEND ALL!!

I Love this Portrait ;))

Took Mishka to Sears today and spent way too much money but got a CD with 300dpi of ALL the Portraits AND the Copyright Release too so I can do WHATEVER I WANT with my portraits ;))

N E WAYZ I made a LO ( only my 4th ever ) of my FAVORITE pose using the "Country Linen" Kit from Scrap Simple. Oh I just LOVE this Portrait!

I'm learning to make my first digi scrap kit ;))

Well, the weekend was okay....nothing spectacular. I helped an old eBay friend get her ad template back up and going after her hard drive bit the dust ;)

I gotta say, been there, done that and it is not a fun place to be. That is why I had DH buy me a new 500GB External and of course I have hundreds of CDs. Of course, I did learn the hard way about CDs almost 10 years ago when I made Back-Ups of my data and photos and assumed they worked because I CHECKED THEM ON THE SAME PC THAT I BURNED THEM ON!! Big Mistake because apparently that pc was looking at the actual hard-drive and NOT the CD...so once that hard drive was no more and I actually tried to read those CDs on another pc...the icons were just EMPTY SHELLS and the files did NOT open and there WASN'T ANY DATA!! That was an extremely sad time for me and took me quite awhile to get over that those photos were gone forever. I will NEVER make that mistake again...I ALWAYZ check my CDs on a different pc....since DH is a Network Admin. that isn't a problem because we have 3 tower pcs and 1 Lap-top ;))

Soooo, after commenting to Barb @ Digital Scrapping about how my Mom was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and of course, thanking her for her freebies...she encouraged me to make a digi scrap kit. My First!! I already had an idea in my head of what I wanted it to be and she started teaching me how to do it!! I have made some papers that are just solid colors for now and learned how to make a swatch!! Not sure how long it will take me to make the whole thing but I am just soooooo excited to have started!!

Oh, and here is my new $150.00 500 GB External Hard Drive ;))

What an AWESOME week!!

Oh, where do I begin?? I went to the doc on Wednesday for routine labs to check my Thyroid and Inflammation indicators for Fybromyalgia ( which supposedly I have ) and the good news is all is good!! Plus, since they ALWAYZ weigh you ~ Ugggghhhhh ) I found out that I have lost 20lbs since I was last there in April....HOORAY!! This changing my diet because of allergies to milk and wheat and getting rid of the SODA POP ( I HATE DIET ) has begun to pay off!! Of course, I haven't been weighing myself because I don't want to be disappointed and I don't own a scale but the clothes have gone down at least one size ;)) I FEEL GREAT!! Well, I do have another 40 or so to go to get to the IDEAL WEIGHT my other doc said but no worries...as DH likes to say and I quote, "You didn't get FAT over night." Thanks Honey!!

Well, gotta go and do my exercises ....
