Have you heard about PetroAlgae??

This looks promising.... Petrol from ALGAE!! A local news bit gave a story about this local company as a renewable source of petrol. Kind of freaky though don't ya think?

Over the Memorial Day Weekend my hubby got some work done on the guest bath!! It's been awhile since we ran out of $$ after giving it all to the eldest daughter to get an apartment.... but we are on target for completion very soon and even have the new toilet sitting in my office :) The new Vanity and Sink are back in my Spare Room. Here are some pics...










Oh and the Mirror ( in cabinet ) and a wall carving that have been sitting back in a closet for about 8 or 9 months now!!

More Flower Buttons soon...

I'm working on Flower Buttons in the Skip ABC and Run ABC Color Palettes but when getting ready to start the preview for Skip realized I hadn't done any papers in Skip or Run?? I need to check into that and if not then I think I will ;) I will be posting these sometime this weekend so check back.

In the meantime, I need to go to Lowe's and buy a new Garage Door Opener System and schedule the installation after I finish mopping the floors ( practically my whole house is TILE ).

• 3.) I left my job @ a Fortune 500 Company in Software Quality Assurance to raise 2 of my 6 Grandchildren and be a StayAtHomeNana. Long story short, my youngest of my 2 daughters was diagnosed with ADHD as a very young child but the resources just weren't that readily available as they are today. Now, after years of counseling and programs ( as a teen ) she is a "self-medicating" young adult and the kids were going into the "system" so here we are...
  
  
• 4.) Weird Fact: My dentist is very impressed with how dedicated I am to flossing!
  
  
• 5.) I applied for and was chosen for the webmaster position @ SAS which has enabled me to continue building on my over 10 Years of web designing experience by learing php and more. Plus, join a Vibrant and Growing Community of Friendly and Helpful Ladies.
  
  
• 6.) I have lived in Central Florida practically my entire life, have traveled minimally in the U.S.A. [ Mostly the East Coast and only once West of the Mississippi to help Katrina victims Two years ago ] but long to travel to far off places like China, Australia and Austria ( the latter Two are where my Mom was born and her Paternal Grandparents were from, respectively).
  
  
• 7.) Weird Fact: I don't wear jewelry, not even a watch... I do appreciate it for its value and beauty but just don't have any interest in wearing it.
  

Another One but I am only supposed to do 7 I guess?? I have Fibromyalgia which I only found out a little over a year ago. I must have had it for awhile since I have had the terrible muscle and joint pain until I changed my diet but all the other docs couldn't figure out why I had the inflammation. That's the best I could do since I have never been tagged before and thank you for your interest in reading.

A Freebie! ... Jump ABC Flower Buttons:

I was playing around with the "Jump ABC" color palette again and re-colored some freebie flower buttons from Farrah's Creations. As I was preparing a preview I shaped them into a circle and then had an aha moment and thought... Why not save them as a Flower Button Frame? So I added it to the zip file saved that way too. I plan to definitely color them in the "Skip ABC" palette as well.

Never a Dull Moment around here...

I can't believe how long it has been since I have blogged! The little ones keep us sooo busy and top that off with house chores that NEVER end.... well, I have finally gotten my DH to set-up my new pc alongside my old pc, share them both with my dual monitors and I am getting myself all organized with my files! I have been trying to get all my Webmaster job stuff organized with all my personal and designing stuff... not to mention still Spring Cleaning and orgainizing closets and paperwork.

Oh, Hurricane Season starts in a little over Two weeks. I can't believe it is here again already. I have heard we are expecting some bad storms but that is what the pros said last year and we had nothing. Still, you never know and I don't want another "Charley." Time to drag out the supplies and see what is missing and get organized just in case.

I hope I can be back soon with some creations ;)
