Scrapping & Minnie Paper:
Wow! What a LONG, WET Summer it has been here in Central FLA. As if we didn't get enough Thunderstorms with RAIN practically everyday, TS FAY really put us over the top... literally! To add insult to injury it has been raining even since she left us... I am sooooo glad I don't have Lake Front property because those poor folks houses are now islands.... also, I am soooo glad for our new roof after Hurricane Charley 4 years ago because NO LEAKS ( and no flooding ) in my house.... WHEW!!
We went to Cocoa Beach for the weekend the weekend before last and here are a few pics of my cuties shortly after we arrived... it was kind of overcast because of the storm that had just blown through!:

I have just scrapped and printed my FIRST digital album and I enjoyed it soooo much even though I had planned on the children spending most of last week in school rather than home because the schools were closed practically all week due to FAY. I was in a time crunch because I only thought to make the album a couple of weeks ago and it was delivered in Pennsylvania yesterday for my Nana's 83rd Birthday today ( that is her American Birthday is today and her Aussie BDay was actually yesterday ). She called and absolutely loved it so that made all the stress worthwhile since I could bring a smile to her face.
I really, really learned a lot from that crash course in scrapping and now I can't wait to make my next book!
Here is a LO I made and the background paper is by me ;) If you click on the LO then it is linked to the paper and you can Right-Click and save it .... it is 3600x3600 pixels @ 300DPI so perfect for a 12x12-inch page which is what my album was.
This was at the Grand Floridian Character Breakfast. I tried the technique of "Cutting" out strips from paper and layering them behind the pic... these were free kits from Kiki's Blog and britt-ish designs.
I am slowly getting all my pages uploaded to my Gallery @ SAS if your interested in popping by to have a look.
I hope to be back soon with more freebies but this is my "Catch-Up" week since last week everything had to be RESCHEDULED! Thanks & Enjoy!!

A Freebie! ... Jump ABC Layered Buttons:
WOW... Where does the time go? It seems the more organized I am the faster the time goes... no, wait, I believe that is the OLDER I get the Faster the Time goes! Well, whatever the reason I just know that Life IS Good even if VERY Busy!
I sat on my Butt this Morning, I think I deserve a break, and I made these Layered Buttons to coordinate with the "Jump ABC" Kit by Digitreats.
I bought these CU Layered Buttons a couple of weeks ago from Susan @ Raspberry Road Designs and had the most fun playing with them for my Seasons in the Sun Series so I had One of those AhHa Moments the other day and decided to make more.
Click the preview for the download link with NO Waiting from 4-shared or anywhere else for that matter...when you unzip the files you will NOT need a PASSWORD.
Thanks and Enjoy ;)
