Last of the Blessings freebies

Here is the last of the "Blessings" kit and it is a little different than anything I tried before... there are strips from several of the papers BUT they have extra texture added to them and some of them have a ribbon edge effect applied. I made the LO below of Two of my grandchildren to give you an idea of One way to use them. I didn't make a preview because there are over 70 strips and not really an easy way to make One. There are no passwords so just click the hot links to download.

Oh, and this was a previous LO I posted using some of the strips ;)

My classmate, Melanie, of Creekside Cottage recently graduated from Digi Design Academy and I just had to make a page lay out with her First Kit... "Her Majesty's Gems."

Congratulations Melanie! Way to go ;)

I'm not even half-way done with the course yet... just goes to show you how easily distracted I am!

Run on over and get your download and also her color challenge participation kit for November @ DSO!

More Count Your Blessings Freebie Elements

What a busy life we lead but it's all good stuff...

Here are some more Gorgeous Lay Outs sent in by blog reader "indigosd." Did I mention how HAPPY I am to see LOs using my creations?? In over a year of sharing I only received One other LO and really it was just using 1 paper of mine. This got me to thinking... I am going to start doing more LOs with my own stuff to really get a better "feel" for how usable they are. Thank You indigosd!!

This LO was made with items from both my "Blessings" & "Purple Stuff" freebies.

The Word Art is by indigosd ;)

The paper is mine from Autumn Splendor. The swirls are from "2 dots and swirls" Designs by Leslie B Digikeepsakes@yahoo.co.uk

This LO is of One of my precious granddaughters. She states, "I love her pensive look and CURLY Hair!"

This LO is of my sweet grandson!

The background paper is from Share Joy Euro Adventure
joy@sharejoymemories.com
The frog is from BD its a boy thing frog bluedreamdesigns.co.uk

This was her First attempt at an extraction... pretty good.

Here are some more of the "Count Your Blessings" Elements and today is a good day because I am going to go ahead and push-out the frames to you too!! I want to get through "Blessings" since I am really catching the fever for making stuff lately!

FYI: I thoroughly enjoy and read all your comments and they mean a lot to me ;) I am even not passwording my files in this set and you just download directly... don't even have to wait for 4-shared... all to make YOUR LIFE easier. So if you could find about 30 Seconds to spare... Please say hello :) It would really, really mean a lot to me!

Which reminds me, I got an email from Mags the other day and she used leafs from my Fall Splendor for this LO:

Thank YOU Mags!

Here's a LO I made using the FREE "Zachary's Farm" kit from
The Queen and The Princess Designs. My subject is One of my beautiful granddaughters :)

Here's a LO I made using the "Blessings" kit and a template that I modified a little from Lindsay Jane. The paper strips are actually my attempt at some ribbons/borders that will be coming soon along with the last of the papers. I took the photo of another One of my beautiful granddaughters recently @ the local butterfly Encounter.

Don't forget your FRAMES :)

I forgot to share Halloween pics...

Here are some pics from Halloween... the children were soooo excited it was hard to get them to stand still!! We have the Prince and the Princess ;) Of course the Prince wouldn't wear his Knightly Head Gear and he definitely did NOT get a sword to whack people with... the Princess's Dress has fiber optics in it so once we were out in the dark all she had to do was push the button and immediately transform into Princess Light Show!

Count Your Blessings Freebie Elements

What a busy but fun 3 days I've had! We went to the Farm on Friday, Tumbling and Swimming @ the Y on Saturday Morn., Lunch and more play @ Chick-Fil-A after that... birthday and grocery shopping on Saturday night, Big Party for the Big 3 Year Old Boy on Sunday and today I am off to the Y later to get back on my Fit Linxx program.

I wanted to share some Gorgeous Lay Outs sent in by blog reader "indigosd." These LOs are done using freebies of mine ( and others ) from the Fall Splendor blog train. She did an amazing job ( IMHO ) considering that she states she is a beginner. Have a look:

Here are some of the "Count Your Blessings" Elements since all you have is papers so far... I need to pass back through the papers again later in the week to see if I missed any others I want to share but for now here are some elements:

Another Trip to the Farm ;)

We are all Plumb Tuckered Out after another trip to the Green Meadows Farm in Kissimmee, Florida.

I hope to get some elements organized for ya'll in the next couple of days but tomorrow Morning we are starting Tumbling classes @ the Y and probably going swimming too ;) Then the big B-Day party is on Sunday for the Big Boy.

Here are some of the more than 100 pics I took. Aren't digital cameras great?? You can take soooo many and really be selective before you spend the $$ to print :)

Count Your Blessings Freebie Papers

I can't believe it has been over a Month since I have made anything... I am still working out the elements for this project but I just wanted to go ahead and share some of the papers I decided I was happy with...

I have been in a strangely melancholy and introspective mood for awhile. There are so many things in this life that we have no control over whatsoever... however, despite it all, I have Six Delightful and Healthy Grandchildren, they are my JOY!

I had to go for a mammogram today. I have put it off for about 5 years now. I have been having mini panic attacks for days as both my Mom and Aunt ( her sister ) have had and survived breast cancer. Now, I have to wait 7 to 10 days for my doc to have the results. I have just decided to push it aside for now.

Oh, stick around and I will share a song with you ;) It is on you tube but not video... just a song :) I just got this CD. The song is "An Páistín Fionn" which I believe translates to "The Fair-Haired One." I don't know, I just like it? If you are interested, here are the lyrics.

I hope you like as much as I do :)

Here is the color palette I am using if you are interested:

We are going to The Green Meadows Farm again tomorrow ;) and my grandson turns 3 on Sunday so there will be lots of partying around here.

Thanks and Enjoy,
